Restoring biological regulation by protecting the terrain that governs digestion, immunity, hormones, nervous system function and resilience.
Danube Terrain consultations are not designed to treat disease, replace veterinary care, or provide protocols for isolated symptoms. They are designed to evaluate the functional terrain of the dog and guide guardians in restoring the biological conditions required for regulation, recovery and long-term resilience. This work focuses on physiology, not diagnoses.

A terrain consultation evaluates how the dog’s internal environment is functioning as an integrated system.
This includes digestive capacity, immune regulation, metabolic rhythm, endocrine signaling, nervous system tone, detox and elimination pathways, and adaptive reserve.
Rather than asking what diagnosis the dog carries, we ask: How well is the body regulating itself?
What We Assess
We evaluate the whole dog through a terrain-based lens, with a foundational species-appropriate, prey-model raw diet assessment as the starting point for every consultation.

• Digestive and metabolic regulation
• Immune resilience and inflammatory patterns
• Endocrine and hormonal stability
• Nervous system tone and stress buffering capacity
• Elimination and biological detox pathways
• Developmental history, environmental exposures, and lifestyle terrain
• Alignment of the current feeding structure with a true species-appropriate carnivore diet.

Each consultation begins with a comprehensive intake history designed to establish a clear picture of the dog’s physiological terrain, beginning with a species-appropriate carnivore diet and feeding structure assessment,
and extending into nutrition history, environmental exposures, developmental influences, lifestyle patterns, and prior medical interventions.
After your intake is reviewed, your dog’s unique terrain is mapped across nutrition, lifestyle, environmental load and developmental history.
This allows the consultation to focus on underlying patterns rather than isolated symptoms, and to build a realistic, step-by-step plan that fits your dog’s biology and your home environment.

Assessment, Mapping and Personalized Support Each consultation includes a full physiological terrain assessment and system-level mapping of your dog’s history, environment, nutrition, stress load and regulatory capacity.
During the session, we identify the primary biological patterns influencing digestion, immunity, detoxification pathways, nervous system tone and hormonal balance, and develop a personalized, step-by-step support strategy based on your dog’s current terrain.
Following your consultation, a written summary and implementation plan is provided by email to clearly document what was discussed and to ensure that all recommendations, priorities and next steps are accurately tracked.
This written follow-up allows you to implement the plan with clarity and continuity, without the need for an additional call.
This work is not about fixing a dog. It is about learning how to support the body’s own capacity to regulate, adapt, and return to balance.
Guided by lived experience, formal training, and a lifelong commitment to terrain-based canine stewardship.
