This started in my kitchen, not as a product, but as part of how I feed my own dogs.
Golden Cream Bites are built from a traditional Budwig-style blend… cottage cheese and flaxseed oil worked together into a true cream so the fats are not just present, but actually usable. When prepared correctly, this combination allows the body to recognize and utilize the oils rather than simply passing them through.
The cottage cheese is made here, from scratch, using locally sourced Tennessee goat milk. These are not anonymous ingredients. The milk comes from farmers who raise their animals properly, on clean land, with access to sunlight and movement. Goat milk offers a smaller fat structure and a different protein profile, making it easier on the system and more aligned with how dogs process food.
Cold-pressed organic flaxseed oil provides a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, supporting skin, joints, and overall cellular health. Organic turmeric is added for its role across multiple inflammatory pathways, and when paired with fat, it becomes far more effective in the body.
The mixture is blended into a thick, golden cream… then freeze dried to preserve its structure and function without the mess.
What comes out is not a hard, uniform treat. These are light, delicate bites that may crumble easily. This is natural and expected. They can be fed as-is or gently crushed over food to coat and enhance the meal.
Everything is made in small batches, fully from scratch:
